- As part of the Linux, I am providing technical expertise across operational and automation initiatives. Oversee and execute core platform responsibilities including vulnerability remediation, OS and middleware patching, application rollouts, server provisioning, and VM lifecycle management across heterogeneous environments. Brought in to accelerate the team’s automation capabilities, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, supported by complementary tooling and CI/CD orchestration.
- Architect and implement scalable automation patterns, enforce idempotent and reproducible deployment workflows, and design modular playbooks and roles that serve as reusable building blocks for the wider organisation. Introduce and formalise engineering practices that reduce manual operations while maintaining full auditability, operational transparency, and controlled change processes. Drive continuous optimisation by analysing existing delivery pipelines, eliminating bottlenecks, and embedding automation‑first principles into daily operations to improve reliability, consistency, and delivery velocity.
